Matt and Jean just returned from Ramstein, Germany, where they visited their daughter Jana and son-in-law Pat. Jana and Pat have two children. Jana is serving at the Military Hospital at Landstuhl as the chief of Emergency Medicine.

Matt and Jean also went to Normandy, France, to view the sites where the American and other Allied Forces landed in 1944. Without the sacrices of these troops, Europe would not have been liberated from the Nazis. Our soldiers have earned our thanks. May their courage and sacrifice never be forgotten.

As a financial planner for over 35 years, Matt understands the severe economic challenges facing our residents. They are hit with high gas prices, mortgage problems, increased food prices, employment lay-offs, high taxes and other financial hardships. He is meeting with residents to bring them hope and promise of change.
